The Columbus County Partnership for
Children (CCPC) is a catalyst for
bringing various community groups
together for the sake of the children
in Columbus County.
The Partnership administers Smart
Start funds appropriated from the
state legislature to support local
programs to benefit children age birth
to 5 and their families living in
Columbus County.
CCPC also brings about awareness
of the critical needs of young children
and helps to develop solutions that
address the needs.
The Columbus County Partnership for
Children seeks to provide the options
and resources necessary for children
and their families to lead healthy,
happy and productive lives.

Science has determined that the earliest years of life build the foundation for all future learning and success. The brain of a child who has had positive early childhood experiences looks different from one who has not. The structure and wiring are visibly and significantly different.
